This past week has been one of milestones.
We took our son Griffin to college last week, said good-bye to Garbiñe our Basque “daughter”, had a send off iced tea in Kennett Square with my dear friend and former intern Ivana as she goes off to college, celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary on the 27th, and Griffin’s 18th birthday yesterday.
Lots of laughs, tears, gifts in many forms, and above all, gratitude.

Ivana gifted me with a lovely charm bracelet and this beautiful piece she created this summer from my Painting by the Pond Workshop. It is hanging in our Dining Room, or what my husband Scott likes to call our “Koi Room” Shell, acrylic on canvas, 11″ x 14″, ©IvanaGatica
And I gifted Griffin with this portrait of our “girls”, Dini and Maggie to brighten up his dorm room walls.
Scott and I surprised each other with original art which has become an unspoken tradition over the years. From our early days dating long distance to marking trips or milestones together we have made, bought or commissioned original works that celebrate our life together.
Feeling the love from a beautiful family!!!
Glad you feel it Sharon as you too, are a gift in my life. Thank you!
