Flower Market in My Drawers

 

It may be December but it feels like May here in the Delaware Valley. Record setting temperatures for this month is a good reason as any to share a mixed media drawing I created on site at the Wilmington Flower Market Spring 2015.

Rides, dogs, food trucks, vendors, entertainment, and of course, flowers, makes the annual 3 day event over Mother’s Day weekend a long standing Wilmington, DE tradition.  I was honored to have been selected to create the painting for this year’s festival. The original painting has been sold, but you can still purchase the prints, posters or notecards.
