My cousin Ellen McVicker and I were invited by 798 ICAF to share our Butterfly Kisses Book with art and storytelling workshops at their international children’s art festival October 1-7, 2015.

The festival coincided with China National Week and Design Week in Beijing. Schools and factories were closed with many people off from work. 798 Art District was hustling and bustling with art and design in the streets, galleries and museums, vendors of all sorts, and of course- lots of people. Beijing, the capital of China has a population of 11+ million people!Waiting to buy tickets
